Melissa began her legal career as an Article Clerk with a local Townsville law firm after completing her Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Commerce Degree at James Cook University in Townsville. Melissa began her legal career practising in Commercial Law and Residential Conveyancing and after taking a break from the legal profession to work as a Sales Administrator for a local property developer, she re-established her passion for Residential Conveyancing.
Since joining Donnie Harris Law, Melissa has taken an active role in the Conveyancing Department working closely with real estate agents, property developers, financiers, mortgage brokers and other law firms throughout Townsville to deliver a professional and personalised conveyancing service to all clients. With over 15 years of conveyancing experience, Melissa aims to ease any burdens and hassles that her clients may have throughout their conveyancing process by providing relevant, up to date, and accurate advice in a timely manner. Melissa aims to ensure her clients experience when buying or selling a property is smooth, seamless, and enjoyable by always keeping her clients informed and up to date throughout the whole process and being ready to settle on time. Being a mum to two active kids, Melissa enjoys watching and supporting her son participate in his many sporting activities, particularly rugby league, and watching her daughter perform at gymnastics. During her downtime, Melissa likes to spend family time with her husband, children and puppy, Remi, building Lego with her daughter, attending North Queensland Cowboys games as a season member with her son, and reading the latest recommended “Book Tok” books.
