Emily started working in administration in 2018 and picked up her career in law in 2020 part time at Donnie Harris Law, while completing her studies at James Cook University. While studying her Bachelor of Laws, Emily mainly worked in residential conveyancing, creating a strong foundation for transactional matters.
Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Laws at James Cook University in December 2022, moving on to then complete her Practical Legal Training with the College of Law in June 2023. Emily was admitted as a Solicitor by the Supreme Court in Townsville in July 2023.
Since being admitted, Emily aims to expand her knowledge from residential and commercial conveyancing to employment law when the opportunity becomes available.
When Emily is not in the office, she is either refereeing on a basketball court or entertaining her miniature dachshund, Murphy.
